Compare like dimensions
Bloom’s product page lists a maximum 5 × 7 embroidery field and separately describes a 5 × 12 multiposition hoop. Those statements answer different questions. Do not place 5 × 12 in the Bloom field column and compare it with SE2000’s 5 × 7 field as though the uninterrupted stitched area were larger. Confirm the placement workflow for the actual design and frame.
The library and included accessories differ
The manufacturer lists 342 built-in designs and 251 sewing stitches for Bloom, compared with 193 designs and 241 stitches for SE2000. More supplied choices may reduce the need to seek a particular pattern elsewhere, but only if the library contains what you need and the relevant license permits the intended use. Treat content, frame bundle and machine capability as separate parts of the purchase.
A maximum rate is not a project-duration estimate
Both sources publish a 650-spm embroidery rate. That rate does not include the entire process of preparing, hooping, changing thread, repositioning or resolving interruptions. Avoid turning a stitch count divided by a maximum speed into a guaranteed completion time. Nor do equal maximums establish identical finished results.
Do not assume accessories follow the field class
A shared nominal field does not establish that a hoop for one machine will attach to the other. Check exact part numbers and model lists. The same applies when a cabinet’s manufacturer names a machine: verify the insert and the intended configuration rather than assuming embroidery movement has also been approved. The source-backed record is the beginning of that conversation.
A practical decision checklist
Request an itemized quote, confirm the included frames, test the intended transfer route and evaluate the support available from the seller. Then compare the next few projects you actually want to make. Bloom’s package may suit a buyer who will use its documented multiposition workflow; SE2000 may suit a different package or feature preference. We have not tested either machine and do not rank their stitch quality, reliability or dealer service from specification counts.
