Layer count depends on the material
The manufacturer says the GO! can cut up to six layers of 100% cotton, while thicker materials are shown at lower layer counts. Treat six layers as a material-specific ceiling, not a universal promise for denim, leather, fleece or fabric with fusible web.
Die compatibility is the real ecosystem decision
The current product page lists a 10-inch cutting width and compatibility with GO! dies other than GO! Big dies. Before buying, list the shapes and finished sizes you repeatedly use, then price the specific dies and mats required. A cutter without the right dies does not remove the measuring problem.
Speed claims need context
AccuQuilt markets the cutter as substantially faster than rotary cutters or scissors. SewingVerdicts has not timed that claim. The practical advantage is repeatability when many identical pieces are required; setup, die selection, fabric preparation and waste still count toward total project time.
