What the calculation does
Enter the equipment configuration you plan to use, including projections. For a cabinet room plan, use its opened rectangle and compare with the room’s clear area; for a tabletop, use the actual equipment envelope and usable surface. All defaults are illustrative. The allowances are your planning inputs, not accessibility standards, certified clearances or manufacturer requirements.
Planned width = equipment width + left + right allowances. Planned depth = equipment depth + front + rear allowances. Square feet = square inches ÷ 144.
What it does not establish
This rectangle check does not assess lift-opening compatibility, cabinet height, load capacity, embroidery-carriage travel, stability, ergonomics, electrical routing or door/chair paths. A “fits” result cannot approve a machine/cabinet pairing. Confirm those dimensions and conditions separately.
